Tirupati, which is a pilgrimage center of India, is well connected by all means of transport with rest of the India. Tirupati is located in between Bangalore and Chennai with 3-4 hours journey by road. Sricity is an integrated business city located 92 kms from Tirupati. There are direct air services from/to Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata with connectivity to all major cities in the country and direct train services from/to all the metropolises and other major cities.
The Institute is a 30 minute drive from the airport and prepaid taxis can be availed of directly at the airport. Depending on the available transport resources the placement cell has at hand and provided the visiting company intimates the Centre for Career development about its schedule for arrival and stay on the campus, transport could be provided to the delegates from the company. The institute also has a bus service with buses plying from the institute to the city centre and back at regular intervals.
The different ways of recruiting are as follows :
- The Campus Recruitment Program for which the final year students are eligible.
- Summer Internship Programs which can be converted to a Pre Placement Offer.
No, There is no fee of any kind associated with the program.
IIT TIRUPATI follows One Student, One Job policy wherein, once a job has been offered to the student, he will not be eligible for regular placement process but can participate in the selection process of only two dream companies.
For a given student a company qualifies to be his/her dream only when the CTC package specified by the company is at least 1.8 times the CTC package received by the student where he/she has already been placed.
No, the student will be deemed to out of entire placement process and will not be allowed the second attempt at a ‘dream’ company
